Pretty cool, right? Well, that feature isn't the only thing this mattress brings to the table. For instance, it has a high-density foam base that makes sure you have enough padding for a good night sleep.

And for a mattress with the high-density base foam, you'd think this would be out of my price range; however, this product sits comfortably within what I could afford. I mean, it's still quite a bit of money, but it's at least reasonable.

With this mind, I'd at least have to consider this product. And the springs aren't the only quality that warrants this mattress for consideration. The 10-year warranty is also a nice touch that makes passing up on this a hard thing to do.

However, this mattress is easily my least favorite Zinus product so far, but this doesn't mean there aren't some worthwhile positive aspects to discuss.

For example, the mattress is infused with green tea extract and castor that work together to ward off bacteria. They're also supposed to help get rid of any unattractive smells, but we'll get more into that later on in the review.

Besides the use of natural substances, Zinus also offers four different style options that you can choose from and pick the one that fits your ideal circumstances. Honestly, I can't praise Zinus enough for always given their customer a choice.

It's little aspects like this one that makes them such a great company. And they actually seem like they strive to make their products affordable for the average consumer such as myself, which is precisely what they did with mattress.

But they fail in two critical areas with this particular product. As mentioned before, the green tea extract and castor oil are supposed to help ward off odors. Well, this feature isn't something that has been overly effective.

The best feature this mattress has is the cooling gel memory foam. This foam makes sure you don't get too sweaty when you sleep. As someone who doesn't move a lot during my sleeping sessions, this aspect is a significant plus for me.

In fact, with this cooling gel memory foam, this mattress would move up to the top of my list immediately. It also helps that the memory foam is explicitly designed to reduce motion transfer.

See, I'm a very light sleeper, so, anything that can keep my better half from waking me up in the middle of the night during her impromptu bathroom visits is monumental for me. I can't tell you the number of times I've been woken up from a scenario like this and not been able to fall back asleep.

Therefore, I greatly appreciate Signature Sleep's effort to alleviate this particular issue. Then you add in the 10-year warranty plus the resistant to allergens, and you have a fantastic product that warrants my consideration.

But regardless of the incredible features,  this product still has two glaring faults that make it a no-buy for me. See, some customers have had issues with the firmness of the mattress.  And as a person who doesn't enjoy sleeping on a hard surface, this aspect is a significant issue.

And it will offer them a complete level of support that another bed can't provide them due to this level of high-quality foam. And just like the larger size beds from Zinus we've reviewed, they used natural oils and substances that replace some of the traditional petroleum to give the mattress a sense of freshness.

In this case, they've chosen natural seed oil to achieve this effect and given the product reviews I think this decision was an inspired one. I also like the number of choices the company provides the customer.

Our last product is appropriately another fantastic product from Zinus, the Zinus Memory Foam 6 inch Green Tea Mattress. And to be honest, there isn't too much different about this mattress than the other Zinus ones we reviewed.

I mean, it's infused with green tea extract and castor oil to promote freshness like the other green tea bed. By the way, I still love this feature as it truly conveys Zinus is trying everything they can think of to make their bed unique and better than their competitors.

It also has the four different style choices, which lends itself useful to people who have preferences regarding the amount of padding they want in their mattress. And this particular area is where this mattress separates itself from its fellow Zinus products.

See, this mattress only use a small amount of memory foam to appeal more toward the people who like a firmer bed. For example, in the 6-inch model, there's only one inch of memory foam used.

Now, I would passionately hate this type of bed. I just don't find the firmer beds comfortable; therefore, this bed wouldn't make it near my top-tier contenders. But this bed isn't made for me in mind.

And I can easily tell that everyone who likes a firm bed has seemed to love this mattress. So, if you're in the market for a firm mattress, I'd recommend taking a good long look at this one from Zinus.

However, be warned, according to the customer reviews, they still haven't fixed the smell issue that was prevalent in the other Zinus products on this list. So please, keep that in mind before you make your decision.

Polyurethane Foam Mattress

There isn't much advantage to getting a polyurethane foam mattress as it's easily the lowest quality of the five types. In other words, the bed you're trying to replace is probably one of these models.

The problem with this type of mattress is it's made from the same stuff you'd find inside couch cushions. And honestly, does it sound appealing or comfortable to have a whole mattress made with that stuff? I don't think so, and I doubt you do either.

It does have one advantage though: the polyurethane foam does have flame retardant additives. Although all mattresses these days are required to have flame retardant properties, so, I guess it's more of a necessity than an advantage.

In the end, there's no reason to buy one of these mattresses unless you're desperate and have a low budget for a bed.

Latex Foam Mattresses

And our last type, the latex foam mattresses, are made from natural and organic materials. However, while this aspect is nice and all, the product outcome concerning the comfort these beds provide is a little lacking.

See, the latex foam doesn't mold to your body like memory foam, which then causes soreness. Honestly, the soreness issue makes this type among my least favorites. I just can't imagine buying one of these types, especially, if I'm going to be driving an RV around all day long.

And to put it simply, regular mattresses aren't made in that way. So, as you can see, there's just no reason you shouldn't get one. Now, if you already have an RV  mattress and it's the one that came with the RV, there's another reason why you need to get a new RV mattress.
